An hour’s ride to the rhythm of an authentic steam locomotive or shunter from the 1940s! Discover a historic line built in 1916 by the Allies for the Battle of the Somme, then used for reconstruction before transporting the sugar produced by the Sucrerie Centrale du Santerre; it has been operated by volunteers since 1971. The line runs along the bottom of the Somme valley, along the ponds, rushes into a tunnel, then walks through meadows and woods, to access the Picardy plateau by an original route . You will also discover the narrow-gauge railway museum where part of the association’s collection of 60 cm gauge railway equipment is exhibited.
Open from Easter to the end of September, also for Halloween and Christmas.
