In the heart of the exceptional landscapes of the Haute Somme

An hour’s ride to the rhythm of an authentic steam locomotive or a locomotive from the 40s! Discover a historic line built in 1916 by the Allies for the Battle of the Somme, then used for reconstruction before transporting the sugar produced by the Sucrerie Centrale du Santerre; It has been operated by volunteers since 1971.
The line runs along the bottom of the Somme valley, along the ponds, rushes into a tunnel, then runs through meadows and woods, to reach the Picardy plateau by a new route. You will also discover the Museum of Narrow Gauge Railways where part of the association’s collection of 60 cm gauge railway equipment is exhibited.
