Picardy Museum

The Museum of Picardy hosts rich collections of archaeology, sculptures, objets d’art and paintings inviting visitors on a journey through time.

Renovated in 2020 and classified as a historical monument, the Museum of Picardy houses rich collections of archaeology, sculptures, art objects and paintings inviting visitors on a journey through time.  

By the way, did you know that the very first traces of human occupation found in Amiens are dated to around 500,000 to 550,000 years ago ?

La Vénus de Renancourt discovered in 2019 is kept at the Museum of Picardy in Amiens.

Open from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., Tuesday to Friday.

Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Open every day except Mondays and the following days: January 1st, May 1st and December 24th, 25th and 31st.
